Training our mental game
We know that to improve our skills in sport, whether that's speed, strength or precision, we need to set aside time to practice. When we put in the work we get faster, stronger and better in technique. If we want to build physical strength, lifting weights only once a year won't get us there!
The same principle applies when strengthening our mental skills.
If we want to become better at managing stress and strengthen our mental skills such as resilience, confidence, motivation and concentration, we need to invest time to train! With practice, we can also grow our capacity to notice and experience more positive and joyful moments in our lives. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you will start improving!
